WIRE ROD

WIRE ROD

Steel wire rod is a semi-finished product made from steel billets. A wire is a final product for the factory and raw material for wire workshops. After the rolling operation, the wire is packed in coils or skeins.

A wire is generally made of low-carbon steel. For example, according to DIN EN ISO 16120-2  uses C32D, according to ASTM A510M uses 1008, or according to GOST30136 uses Ct0M steel grades in wire production. In other words, each grade contains a certain amount of carbon and alloy materials, which is another reason why there are different grades of wire produced from this product. The steel wire can be raw or the same as black wire or it can be galvanized in some cases. There is a type of steel wire used in the market to produce more monolithic products, And some kinds of wire can be coated using PVC.
